Chisholm Trail wrestling traveled to Saginaw for the annual EMS Shootout on Thursday, Jan. 25. The boys team went 2-0 on the night, edging out Boswell 48-12 and Saginaw 44-30. The evening was not only about victories but also about celebrating their seniors who have contributed immensely to this memorable season. Khalid Williams was a stand-out performer for the Rangers starting off both duals with wins, giving the Rangers some serious momentum. Other strong performances came from Adriel Sanchez and Travis Guillot.

The girls team had five athletes compete at the EMS Shootout. All five girls won their matches against Boswell, and three out of four emerged victorious against Saginaw, with all eight matches won by pins.

The Rangers will compete in the District Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 3 at Timber Creek.
