Even on the road, the Lady Rangers manage to maintain their hot streak. Tuesday, Chisholm travelled across the tracks to take on the Lady Rough Riders of Saginaw in their second meeting of the season. The girls in purple set their eyes on repeating the results and went to work. It was a valiant fight on both sides of the net, with Saginaw keeping pace throughout the evening. However, the coordination of the Lady Rangers enabled them to stay ahead of the game and bring home the win in all three sets 25-16, 25-12, and 26-24 respectively. Angar Arop led the team with ten kills, hitting a .474 and adding three aces. Audrey Buchanan chalked up an additional six kills, hitting .500 and performing three blocks, and Elyse Hallmark rounded out the kill tally with five of her own. Femke Smits was the tip of the spear in assists with 21 and three aces, the latter of which Azariah Williams matched on top of 11 digs, and Amelia Drake added eight digs.
Chisholm Trail meets the Fossil Ridge Lady Panthers on Friday, October 9th, with the aim of keeping the ball rolling.
