The Rangers faced a tough 55-53 defeat against the Weatherford Roos on Tuesday, Jan. 2. A sluggish start coupled with poor shooting put the Rangers at a disadvantage, managing only 14 points in the first half. Despite a second-half rally, the Rangers fell short in their comeback attempt. KD Richardson led the scoring with 24 points, supported by Javon Smith with 11 points, Elisamuel Ortiz-Vasquez with five, Jack Skinner with three, and Jalen Thomas with two.

Chisholm Trail travels to face Crowley on Friday, Jan. 5. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m.
