Chisholm Trail Swim competed at the EMS ISD Dual Meet held at the Northwest ISD Aquatic Center on Saturday, Dec. 16 taking second place against Boswell and Saginaw. On the girls team, Jadyn Irvin secured second place in the 200 Freestyle and third in the 100 Backstroke while Sofia Rodriguez achieved second in the 50 Freestyle and fourth in the 100 Freestyle. Elia Dupree came in second place in the 100 Freestyle and third in the 100 Breaststroke. Lauren Baez claimed third in the 100 Freestyle and sixth in the 100 Backstroke. The 200 Medley relay and the 200 Freestyle relay dropped time and earned second place.

Individual achievements continued on the boys team with Matthew Baez securing third in the 200 Freestyle and sixth in the 100 Freestyle. Owen Behr claimed second in the 50 Freestyle and second in the 100 Freestyle, Cai Allison placed fourth in the 50 Freestyle and fourth in the 100 Freestyle. Logan Williams achieved fifth in the 50 Freestyle and first in the 100 Butterfly while Lucas Childs secured sixth in the 50 Freestyle and fifth in the 100 Breaststroke. Patrick Wells earned third in the 100 Freestyle and second in the 100 Breaststroke.

Preparing for their upcoming district meet the Rangers will compete at the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD New Year's Classic on Jan. 6 and the Arlington Heights Sprint Invitational on Jan. 13.
