Chisholm Trail wrestling hosted the annual EMS ISD wrestling tournament on Dec. 8-9. The varsity boys showed out scoring 131.5 points and finished fifth out of 25 schools. Tournament top placers for the Rangers included senior Christian Clark (215) who secured first place and remains undefeated. Junior Travis Guillot (285) earned second place while sophomore Ethan Orat (120) took 3rd place and senior Khalid Williams (175) finished fourth.

The girls team had a great showing at the tournament scoring 77.5 team points. Seniors Hanna Sanchez and Sofia Corona went 4-1 in the day, both taking home third place. Freshman Anaseini Tupou had a standout performance pinning her opponents and taking home the gold medal.

The Rangers will host a quad with South Hills, Arlington Lamar and Springtown on Wednesday, Dec. 13.
