Chisholm Trail cross country teams competed at the Paschal Invitational at the Athletic Performance Ranch on Saturday, Sept. 17. The varsity boys placed 8th out of a very competitive 17 team field. Elliot Gonzalez place 19th with a 17:31. Gabe Rosas ran 17:51 in his first meet of the year. He placed 26th out of 150 runners. Alejandro Mendoza ran a PR of 18. Xavier Mendez ran 19:02 with Elijah Norwood close behind with 19:32.
Teah Peeni placed 24th with a time of 21:07 and Tatiana Mendez ran a PR of 23:08.

In the JV division, the boys were led by Elijah Milton with a PR of 22:02 in only his second meet and Toby Xaymongkhol with a time of 22:23. Gabby Ortiz led the JV girls team placing 31st with a 24:50 and Bree Brimmer took 51st with at 26:26.

The Rangers will compete in the Braswell Little D Invitational on Sept.23 and the Mansfield Invitational on Sept. 30 before competing in the District 3-6A meet on October 14 at Athletic Performance Ranch.
