Hosting the District Meet this week, Chisholm Trail absolutely shined on their home turf and secured the top two places handily.
On the girls' side of the gym, the Lady Rangers marked a major milestone for their season by placing second overall, rising to the occasion when it mattered most and putting together their strongest meet of the year. Leading the charge was Rylee Westerlund, placing third on vault and fourth on bars, with Alexia Reyna finishing 4th on both vault and floor, and fifth on bars.
Over to the boys, the Rangers brought home first as a team with a score of 133.7. Dominik Galicia spearheaded the team with a first place finish on Vault, High Bar, and All-Around. Brian Tellef followed closely behind him with fourth on Pommel Horse, Parallel Bars, and Highbar, and third in All-Around.
Both teams look to perform just as well in the upcoming Regionals Championship, held at Thomas Coliseum on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 7th and 8th.
