Friday was a hard-fought night for the Rangers, traveling across the tracks to throw down with their friendly rival, the Saginaw Rough Riders. An early goal by the home team set the pace for the night, leaving Chisholm to play an aggressive offense for a majority of the game. The cooperation between the boys in white was stellar, so much so that Coach Little Rogers called it the best played game of the year. Eventually, the Rangers managed to punch through the Rough Riders' strong defense and tie up the score in the fourth, and though they sought to keep their momentum going, a surprise score from their opponents in the last minutes of the game ended the evening with a very close but well played 1-2 final score.
The Rangers are back on their home pitch Tuesday, February 17th, to take on the Granbury Pirates.
