The Lady Rangers played host to the Granbury Lady Pirates on Tuesday to wind down this intense season of district play. Their opponent came out onto the court swinging and managed to garner an early lead thanks to their aggressive offense, but Chisholm held fast and fought to close the gap before halftime, bringing the score within a four point margin. Though the girls in white kept tight on the visiting team's heels throughout the third quarter, the final stretch of the game saw the Lady Pirates begin to pull away and growing the point gap by 11 before the final buzzer. Thought it was not the win the girls wanted, the teamwork and coordination still made the match a strong end to a historic in-season.
Monday, February 16th, Chisholm Trail head to Thomas Coliseum to take on Grapevine in the first round of the playoffs.
