Chisholm Trail traveled across the tracks on Friday for their second matchup against the Saginaw Rough Riders. Starting off in the first quarter, the boys in purple had difficulty finding their footing as their hosts pulled ahead 14-9. However, the Rangers kicked it into high gear coming out into the second and managed to pull ahead of their opponent by halftime. Their contested game of back and forth continued into the the fourth quarter where the two teams found themselves tied, but a combination of aggressive offense and strong defense allowed Chisholm to pull ahead and steal the win 46-41. Their come from behind victory both avenged their previous loss to the Rough Riders and kept their playoff hopes alive.
The Rangers are back at home against Granbury on Tuesday, February 10th.
