Friday night marked an epic showdown on Rough Rider turf. The Lady Rangers faced off against their friendly rivals in one of the closest matchup of the season yet as both teams relentlessly fought for dominance over the court and refused to step off the gas. Locked in a tight point dispute and on their back foot for the first half and the first part of the third quarter, the girls in purple managed to pull ahead of their opponent and secure enough points to put themselves over the top 47-41, securing the second place position in the district and taking payback for their even closer loss nearly a month previous. Jada Hill lead the evening by putting up 20 points in total, followed by Jayci Butler with seven, Claire Blakely and Mya Johnson with six each, Angar Arop with four, Achan Arop with three, and Kennedy Brooks with one.
Chisholm is back at home for their last in-season game against Granbury on Tuesday, February 10th.
