The Chisholm Trail Rangers and the Fossil Ridge Panthers duked it out on Tuesday in their second meeting of the season. Coming in with one win already under their belt, the boys in purple were eager to repeat their success and bring home another win. They came out in the first half swinging and lead the Panthers by seven, but the visitor took the challenge in stride and tied up the score during the third quarter, putting everyone on the edge of their seats. Through, grit, determination, and teamwork, the Rangers pulled ahead in the final minutes and came away with their second win over Fossil Ridge with 40 points to their 32. Jesse Mutombo suck 23 points, leading the team that evening, followed by Devion Johnson with seven, Jordan Goree with six, and Jackson Pearce with two.
Chisholm heads across the tracks on Friday, February 6th, to face off against friendly district rival, the Saginaw Rough Riders.
