It was an intense fight last night at Chisholm Trail as the Rangers hit their home mats for the first time in the new year. Both boys and girls teams got the chance to follow up their strong performance at the Round Table Invitational last week with another showing of their talent. On the gentlemen's side of the gym, Dominik Galicia helped lead the team to a silver medal with several first place finishes on Floor, Rings, Parallel Bars, Highbar, and All-Around. For the ladies, an impressive all-around showing by Shaelynn Hill and a solid performance on beam from Rylee Westerlund catapulted the girls to the third place spot on the podium. "The teams competed with confidence against a talented field," commented Girls Head Coach Katie Haseman, "and continue to build momentum as the season progresses."
The Rangers are away at Rockwall-Heath High on Wednesday, January 28th, for the Southside Showdown.
