Kicking off the long weekend was the Tussle at the Trail, an event pitting not just twelve talent teams against one another, but laid the field for the friendly rivalry between the Rangers and their district-mate, the Saginaw Rough Riders. A series of tough bouts greeted the boys and girls in purple, taking on challenging opponents in pursuit of the coveted first place finish. Chaz Marone and Ethan Orat won gold in their respective competitions, helping the gentlemen snag 5th place, and a staggering ten ladies placed top 3 in their weight classes, bringing home the title of team champions.
Thursday night, January 22nd, sees all district teams pitted against one another in the EMS Shootout at Eagle Mountain High School.
