Nerves were high going into the season opener this past Friday, as the Lady Rangers faced off against the Lady Eagles of Eaton. It was a hard fight on both sides of the ball as both teams wrestled for control over the court with little let-up. Unfortunately, the girls in purple were not able to secure a win over their opponent, but this was not a result from lack of effort. Chisholm Trail was on the heels of the Lady Eagles throughout the entirety of the showdown and ended the evening with only an 11-point deficit. Contributors to the Lady Rangers' 35 points include Jada Hill with 14, Kristen Crawford with seven, Angar, Arop with four, Makayla Crawford with three, Jentry Holland with two, Kelechi Ijeoma with two, Mya Johnson with two, and Jayci Butler with one.
