Traveling to Rough Rider territory, the Lady Rangers found themselves the underdogs in this rematch between friendly rivals. Starting off on a very narrow back foot, the girls in purple managed to pull victory from the jaws of defeat after turning around a 0-2 set deficit. Though it took great effort, Chisholm came out in the third round and put themselves on the board with a 25-19 win, following up that performance with an even closer 25-23 win in the fourth and a decisive 15-8 in the final round. Leading the charge in this come-from-behind reverse sweep was Angar Arop, with 19 kills, 10 digs, four aces, and two blocks. Her sister, Achan, was close behind with 13 kills and two blocks, while Emma Nelson followed with eight kills and three blocks, and Avery Dix added seven kills and four blocks. Assata Howard chalked up 29 digs and one ace, Allie Wachtman made 14 digs and two aces, and Lianny Carrasquillo Loiz and Lila Yun brought in 25 and 20 assists respectively.
The Lady Ranger journey to Aledo on Friday, October 24th, and look to bring home another win.
