Returning to their home court after some time on the road, the Lady Rangers found themselves locked in a fierce showdown against the Fossil Ridge Lady Panthers. Both teams aggressively battled for dominance over the playing field on both sides of the ball, creating hardened defensive lines and attacking with precision throughout all four of the sets played. For the entire evening, Chisholm Trail reamined neck and neck with their opponent, and set the night off right with a narrow victory of 25-23. Sadly, however, the Lady Rangers had difficulty maintaining the early lead and fell behind in the following matches 26-28, 20-25, and 20-25. But, in spite of the minor setbacks, the girls in purple had a fantastic evening of showing off the skills they have been honing over their tournament travels. Abby Hudson recorded 14 kills and hit .480 with three blocks, Emma Nelson added an additional 16 kills while hitting .440 with three blocks, and the Arop sister, Achon and Angar, chalked up nine and six kills respectively with the latter including 20 digs. The night might not have ended the way they would have liked, but it was no less of a success in displaying the coordination and talent of this star-studded team.
