Senior Night provided a tough fight for the Rangers as they took on Granbury. It was the deciding game for the playoffs and the boys in purple were eager to snatch up the spot. Both teams put up incredible defenses that ground the game to a stalemate for a majority of the runtime. Most attempts to break the Granbury wall were met with quick retaliation and a fierce return, however one run managed to slip through at the last minute. The sound of the ball hitting the back net intertwined with the cheers of Rangers fans as Chisholm Trail scored the one and only goal of the match, defeating Granbury in a narrow shutout and securing their placement in the playoffs.
The Rangers are off to Gainesville on Tuesday, March 18, to play in the first round of Bi-District.
