After the torrential winds on Tuesday and a quick rescheduling of the game, the sister schools of Chisholm Trail and Saginaw took to the pitch for their second showdown of the season. Looking to make a comeback from their previous 0-1 defeat, the Rangers found themselves in a fierce fight from the onset. Both teams put up a solid defense that kept the game in a stalemate for long stints, but with agile footwork and quick thinking, the boys in purple were able to break through the lines and score two goals before the clock ran down, putting them up 2-1 and winning the match.
The Rangers are back at home on Friday, March 7, facing off against Granbury and looking to keep themselves on track for the playoffs.
