The Lady Rangers went to Aledo to stand on business at the district powerlifting meet. Victory was the only thing on their minds as they put an ever increasing amount of weight on their barbells, and it was a victory that they received. All of the members of the team performed extraordinarily well, securing spots for all 12 of them the Regional Meet (the first time in school history) with two among them medaling in the processes. Sidney Wikane brought back silver in the 97 lbs weight class and Amanda Lewis took home bronze in the 242 lbs weight class. Way to go, girls!
The Lady Rangers powerlifting team head off to Sherman High School on Thursday, February 27, to continue their upward trajectory.
