For the first time in the program's history, Chisholm Trail's own Lady Ranger soccer team has defeated the Aledo Bearcats! With exceptional play and determination, the girls in purple were, as Coach Sean McGarry put it, "absolutely perfect" in the execution of their footwork on the pitch. Braving the chilly Friday weather, Chisholm won handily over their opponents with a final score of 2-0. Offense was carried by Danika Womack who scored both goals assisted by Jennifer Gonzalez, and on the defense, Andrea Morel and Mikayla Mercer joined forces to keep the Ranger goalposts secure and ensure the shutout victory.
The Lady Rangers are away Friday, Feb. 28th, to end off the month with a battle against the Fossil Ridge Panthers.
