The Rangers dominated district to take home a 3rd place position, the first time placing top three in seven years. Coincidentally, that also the same number of athletes that this victory helped send to the Regional Tournament. Ethan Orat lead the way with a 1st place win and the title of district champion in his weight class. Shafa Nawabi and Travis Guillot followed close behind with a silver medal. Preston Hensley and Quaylon Mason placed 3rd, Xavier Reyes and Taeveon Johnson placed 5th, and Victor Barahona and Maxwell Locey placed 6th.
All seven of these athletes will be headed to the Regional Tournament in Lubbock on Friday, Feb. 7th.
