The Chisholm Trail girls golf team competed at the District 3-6A Tournament held at Cleburne Links on April 8-9. Despite challenging weather conditions leading to the second round being shortened to nine holes, the Lady Rangers managed to secure fourth place with a score of 440. Ella Barton's outstanding performance earned her a second-place finish individually, marking her third consecutive appearance at the Regional golf tournament. This tournament marked Barton's final district appearance in her high school career, during which she amassed a collection of medals including first, second, and third place finishes, making her the most decorated golfer in school history. She is set to compete at the Regional Tournament at Tangle Ridge Golf Course on April 17-18. Good luck Ella!
