Chisholm Trail Cheer made a lasting impression at the National High School Cheerleading Championship held at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL Feb. 9-12. This prestigious event originating in 1980, drew participation from 1,183 teams across 34 states. Teams competing at the Championship must qualify to compete. The Rangers earned their invitation to Nationals with an impressive third-place finish at the North Texas Regionals. At Nationals the team competed against approximately 30 teams in the Varsity Coed Non-Tumbling Division I Game Day. The competition, divided into three rounds—prelims, semifinals, and finals—judged teams on various skills, including stunting, tumbling, crowd leading, and overall performance. For the second consecutive year, the Rangers secured a coveted spot in the finals, achieving an outstanding sixth-place finish, surpassing last year's eighth-place record. "We are incredibly proud of this team and all the work the kids put in to reach such an accomplishment," expressed Head Coach Sabrina Baldwin. Congratulations Rangers!
