In an exhilarating five set showdown on Friday, Sept. 29, the Chisholm Trail Lady Rangers emerged victorious against the Boswell Lady Pioneers with a final score of 16-25, 15-25, 25-18, 25-23, 15-13. Morgynne McQueen recorded a triple double and broke two school blocking records. Her impressive performance included 20 kills, 22 digs, and a total of 13 blocks, with 11 of those executed solo. Mariana Garcia contributed 11 kills and two blocks, while Harmony Soles delivered a double double performance, amassing 11 kills, 21 digs, and two aces. Kaci Wade notched a double double as well, providing 44 assists and 10 digs. Lily Quidachay shone through with 35 digs and a timely ace. Addyson Whitson tallied three kills and 15 digs, and Kaidence Bradbury chipped in with four kills. Chisholm Trail currently sits in first place in District 3-6A with a 6-1 district record. They kick off the second round of district play on Tuesday, Oct. 3 versus North Crowley at home at 6:30 pm.
