In a hard-fought battle, the Chisholm Trail Rangers faced off against Weatherford on Friday, Sept. 22, but came up short with a final score of 41-10. The Rangers started the game with an aggressive stance, but a couple of untimely miscues allowed the Kangaroos to seize the momentum. Despite the tough loss, running back Israel Kaloso shone, rushing for 159 yards and securing a touchdown. The Rangers' defense was anchored by linebackers Pale Uli and Ethan Guthrie, who led the team in tackles, while outside linebacker Isaiah Burriel managed to tally two tackles for a loss. Kicker Roman Hernandez contributed to the scoreboard with a 31-yard field goal. Chisholm Trail will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 6, when they face off against Crowley at the Crowley ISD Multi-Purpose Stadium.
