The Rangers hosted a tough L.D. Bell team on Friday, March 17. Austen Govea started for Chisholm Trail. He lasted five innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out seven. Jorge De Los Santos threw two innings in relief.

Chisholm Trail had six hits total. Joseph McGowen and Jesus Bravo led the team with two hits each. The Rangers will take on Weatherford next in a two-game series. They'll play at Weatherford on Tuesday, March 21 and then host the Kangeroos on Friday, March 24 at 7 p.m.
