The Rangers competed in the EMS ISD baseball tournament on March 2-4. Chisholm Trail baseball recognized their eight seniors before their game against Mansfield Summit on Saturday. The Rangers secured the win with a final score of 10-0. On the mound for the Rangers was Diego Gray who lasted five innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out three and walking one.

Jerson Martin collected four hits in four at bats to lead the Rangers. Martin singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the fourth, and doubled in the fifth innings.

Chisholm Trail competes in the Northwest ISD tournament on March 9-11. Games will be hosted at Brewer, Eaton, and Northwest high schools. The Rangers will open up district play during spring break at L.D. Bell on Tuesday, March 14 and then host the Blue Raiders at home on Friday, March 17.
