Chisholm Trail drops its home opener to Denton on Friday, Sept. 2. The Rangers were led defensively by Senior OLB, Dominick Berry, who had nine tackles. Chisholm Trail also forced two Denton turnovers. Senior OLB, Jordan Dews, had an interception and Junior OLB, Ryan Cortez, caused a fumble which was recovered by Sophomore Safety, Kameron Brimmer. Offensively, Sophomore QB, Joey McGowan, threw two TD passes. One for 55 yards to Junior RB, Israel Kaloso, and the other for 14 yards to Junior WR, Gavin Clark. Kaloson also had a 14-yard run for a TD.

The Rangers will host West Mesquite for Homecoming on Friday, Sept. 9. Kick-off is set for 7:30.
