Traveling across the track, the Lady Rangers crossed swords with district-mate Saginaw in their second and final matchup of the season. In their last meeting, the Lady Rough Riders proved a worthy opponent, but the girls in purple were determined to repeat their victory. It was a battle of wills at the very start of the duel, with both team giving up very little ground to their opponents. Miley Guzman stood strong in the circle, going four innings and striking out three, while Lauren Sylva and Pyper Garner lead the charge on offense, the former batting in two runs and and the latter leading with 2-for-3 at home plate. Unfortunately, the Lady Rough Riders managed to slip through Chisholm's defenses and amass more runs as the night went on, ending the evening in a 3-13 defeat.
The Lady Rangers are back at home for one final showdown in the in-season, taking on the LAdy Pirates of Granbury on Friday, April 17th.
