The Rangers were strong on the mat this past weekend, taking part in the annual EMS Tournament against their district mates and many other visiting teams. With top-five finishes from Chaz Marone, Qualyon Mason, Jaylin Martin, Caleb Campos, Dominic Barron, Justin Perry, and Lehia Andres, the boys in purple were able to amass enough points to finish in fourth place as a team by the end of day two. The Lady Rangers were even more successful in their endeavors as they were named the EMS ISD Tournament Champions and brought home gold as a team! Not only that, but each of the members placed in the top three of all participating weight classes with Natalie Garcia, Hayven Pierotti, Alysa Sanchez, Anaseini Tupou, and Kylee Guereca all being claiming the title of champion in each of their individual brackets!
Both teams head off to Birdville on Saturday, December 20th.
