The Rangers have claimed their first set of Silver Spurs! Narrowly being defeated in their previous matchup, Chisholm Trail came back with a vengeance this year as they sought to claim the argent accessories in their second-ever time being up for the taking. The nerves were high going into the game, facing off against long-time friendly rival Saginaw who holds just as strong a record as the boys in purple. From kickoff to the final buzzer, both teams battled it out with unrivaled intensity and determination, eager to claim the spurs as their own for the next year; and through the use of the skills they'd amassed over their successful season, the Rangers were able to pierce their opponent's defense and pull ahead just enough to claim the Silver Spurs with a 27-17 final score. This victory marks Chisholm Trail's first possession of the coveted award since its establishment only a year previous, giving them a massive morale boost as they head into the playoffs!
Friday, November 14th, the Rangers travel to C.H. Collins Athletic Complex to take on Aledo in Bi-District.
