Chisholm Trail made their biggest upset of the season so far on Friday, adding a loss to the previously undefeated Paschal Panthers' record. The Rangers stood strong on both sides of the ball, creating a nigh impenetrable defense and forcing turnovers while offense forged a path through the visiting team's phalanx and into the end zone over all four quarters, capping off the evening with a satisfying 43-21 win to now make them 2-2. Carter Swann was at the tip of the spear on defense with nine tackles and once tackle for a loss, followed closely by Freddie Young who contributed six tackles of his own. During Ranger possession, Keaton Rose had seven completions for 117 yards and a TD, William Quintana amassed 81 rushing yards with two TDs, and Xavier Rodriguez lead the charge with 21 carries for 163 yards and a TD.
The boys are back at Ranger Stadium Friday, October 10th, to take on Northside in their last home game for three weeks.
