Spring break started out rough for the Lady Rangers, facing off against the Panthers at home in a match that tested the girls' mettle. Ranking up 8 hits and 5 runs on the offense, it was a strong showing for the girls in purple that sadly fell just short of their opponent's efforts. Fossil Ridge came out swinging and scored 15 runs out of the 16 hits that they took, surpassing the Lady Rangers but not without great effort. Though the outcome was not what they were hoping, the Lady Rangers displayed great resolve and sportsmanship in their fierce fight on the diamond.
The Lady Rangers are away Friday, March 28, to head into the Hornets' nest against Azle.
