The Rangers competed well in the first meet of the season at Boswell High School finishing fourth overall. Hayden Norwich finished second in the 308 lb weight class and Darion Reed finished second in the SHW class. Freshman Ethan Westover finished third in the 148 lb weight class, Elijah Raya finished third in the 242 lb weight class and Darron Copeland finished third in the 275 lb weight class.

The Lady Rangers also finished fourth overall in the meet, but individuals finished well in their weight classes. Chloe Nogueria won the 105 lb weight class and Aahliyah Ali won the 259+ weight class. Jasmin Rivas finished second in the 181 lb weight class.

The Chisholm Trail girls team will compete at Saginaw on Jan. 25. The boys team will compete at the Brewer powerlifting meet on Jan. 26.
