The Rangers were at Thomas Coliseum last week, taking on the regional gymnastics meet alongside their district-mates. It was a fierce competition that tested all the skills the teams had been honing over the season, and all of their hard work paid off.
The boys came home with a bronze medal to add to the case, totaling a team score of 139.1 and putting them strongly in third. Dominik Galicia led the charge placing 8th on floor, 9th on Rings, 5th on Vault, 7th on Parallel Bars, 6th on Highbar, and 3rd All-Around. Brian Tellf placed 10th on Parallel Bars and 9th on Highbar.
On the girls' side of the gym, they delivered the strongest Optional team score of the season. Showcasing their hard work and determination, the ladies came in a solid fifth place by day two's end and managed to raise the overall team score 20.15 in comparison with last year.
