Lindsey Mercer
My name is Lindsey Mercer, and I grew up right here on Eagle Mountain Lake. In high school, I played volleyball, softball, ran cross country, and was an all-state basketball player. I attended Abilene Christian University and was a member of the Lady Wildcat basketball team my first year. I graduated in 2002 with degrees in Exercise and Sport Science and Broadcast Journalism.
Beginning in 2003, I have coached and taught at Boles Junior High in Arlington ISD, Grand Prairie High School, Euless Trinity High School, Northwest High School, and most recently, Lake Country Christian School, where we won the 2018 TAPPS 4A Girls Basketball State Championship. I have also coached at PYBSA for my daughter’s softball team, as well as her basketball teams at the Northwest YMCA.
I live here in the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw community with my two daughters, Mikayla and Macey. I’m ecstatic to begin the school year at Chisholm Trail!
