Cristian Alvarez
Cristian Alvarez coaches the outside linebackers for the Ranger Football team, and in the spring he is the Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach. Prior to coming to Chisholm Trail, he spent two years at Denton High School.
He graduated from Arlington High School in 2013 and was a 3-year letterman on the baseball team. After high school, Coach Alvarez received a baseball scholarship to play at Northeast Texas Community College as a late inning reliever. He was a member of the 2014 team that made it to the regional finals. Coach Alvares then went on to UTA, graduating with a degree in History.
Coach Alvarez is a proud first-generation Mexican American and the first in his family to earn a college degree. He and his wife Laura enjoy traveling for food and spending time with their families.
